“Gateway” by Tim Attewell

A scientist struggles to unravel the terrible truth about a mysterious catastrophe that destroyed his lab right when he was on the cusp of stopping death itself.

Moments after a terrible catastrophe, Scientist Craig McCallum regains consciousness on the floor of his lab. He begins to survey the damage in search of answers and makes an unsettling discovery about his life’s work: a machine with the potential to stop death.
