“Rendezvous with Mars” is a film about a young girl’s journey from her humble beginnings in the city of Bombay to becoming an astronaut en route to Mars.
Full Synopsis:
The film seeks to find a window into a human heart in conflict over its dreams and the act of being severed from everything it holds dear. The protagonist’s childhood is a metaphor for human civilization itself – with her curiosity and gumption. She grows dreaming about having the stars in her hands to actually going on a voyage beyond our planet in her adulthood. Her story involves her recognizing the childhood dream that we are all meant to be carrying.

Divya More is a Bombay based writer/director. Mayukh Goswami is an Indian citizen working as a Designer-animator in New York, Subigya Basnet is a citizen of Nepal working in America as a video producer and Ujjwal is studying audio production in Delhi.
This cross country collaboration was an attempt by the creators to tell humane stories, without and beyond boundaries. The film was made over skype calls and shared over google drive.
