A lonely woman falls for an avatar in an augmented reality program and it completely upends her life.
A lonely and depressed woman named Sadie takes part in the beta testing of “Virtual Encounters,” an augmented reality program where users can virtually meet different kinds of people. After meeting an avatar named Jack in a florist shop, Sadie begins to feel alive again, and she reaches out to a hacker in the program to find the real man behind the avatar.
